this cake was alright, but i found it very dry, and flavourless [i even added a little extra vanilla]. i dont know if i'll make it again.

  1. Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs and beat. Add flour, milk and baking powder.
  2. Add vanilla and nuts.
  3. Place in greased and floured pan.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees until top of cake springs back when touched (about 30 minutes).
