This recipe comes from "Chef Bobo's Good Food Cookbook" I haven't made these yet. This recipe is only supposed to make a dozen cookies and while it is easily up-sized to make more, sometimes you only want just a few cookies.

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  3. Beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg.
  5. Add in the vanilla.
  6. Add in the flour.
  7. Roll dough into 12 equal sized balls.
  8. Place balls on prepared sheets, leaving 3 inches between to allow for spreading.
  9. Press dough balls down lightly.
  10. Bake 12-15 minutes, until firm.
  11. Cool on rack.
