I had this on lobster and it was amazing. I'm sure it would be good on other things as well. The chef verbally told me ingredients so they may not be exact or quite right.

  1. Saute shallots, add wine, and peeled vanilla bean. Boil down slowly (about 2 hours); stir occasionally. Add cream simmer down. Add salt, pepper and sugar. Serve warm over cooked lobster.
