This is also one of my favourite ways to have baked beans, sometimes I'll grill the cheese or sometimes I'll make these in a jaffle iron, today I used barbeque flavour baked beans with the cheese...mmmm delicious. made for ZWT 4.

I used to eat baked beans on bread with butter all the time so I knew I would love this recipe. This takes no time at all to make and I added a light layer of butter to my bread. Definitely use the sourdough bread! I used a can of Bush's beans - original flavor for supper the night before and had this sandwich for lunch. YUMMM!!! Made and reviewed for ZWT 4.

This was a yummy take on the very British classic of 'beans on toast'. I used reduced fat cheese just to keep within my dietary requirements. For those of us on this side of the pond this is real comfort food and cheap too when when you are on budget. Made for ZWT4.
