OK, unruly shrimp creator, these were lovely! The marinade imparts a lot of flavor, before the frying seals the deal! I was on the fence about the dipping sauce, but, I did find the flavor interesting. I was wondering if the cabana boy slipped a little something in the sauce ;-) ! Thanks for sharing, cookiedog. The DH and I enjoyed this great little appertizer before our main meal. I used just over 8 ounces of prawns (14 medium prawns). I prepared the prawns earlier in the day and had the sauce in the pot ready to heat up while I cooked the prawns so it made for a quick and delicious fix and for us a different way to have our prawns, thank you cookiedog, made for Healthy Choices tag game.

What a wonderful dish! We loved the dipping sauce and the shrimp came out so crispy. I may have cooked mine a tad longer because they sure browned up good. But we like our shrimp on the done side. These are surprisingly easy to prepare. It's a keeper. I loved using the panko crumbs instead of the normal bread crumbs. Thanks for posting. :)
