If you like eggnog lattes but can't afford the price-tag at the coffee stand, this is a happy medium. Time to make does not include brewing time for the coffee (as time will vary).
- 1 cup strong coffee, hot
- rich eggnog, to taste (I like Wilcox brand)
- whipped cream, if desired
- nutmeg, to taste
- Add the eggnog to taste and stir well.
- Top with the whipped cream, if desired, and a sprinkle of nutmeg.
Yummy! I used light eggnog and added a little pumpkin pie spice as well. So easy and so much cheaper than Starbucks... thank you for sharing! :)
Eggnog lattes are one of my seasonal indulgences, but I just paid $5.00 dollars for one at the local coffee shop, so it is nice to be able to spend a LOT less to make them at home. I agree with Buster's friend--great for a grey drizzly (and COLD) Seattle day :) Made for Let's P-A-R-T-Y! game.
Yay! My solution for grey drizzly Seattle early ams for years! The only thing better is to use homemade high octane eggnog & sit at home, sipping & watching the rain drip down outside! It's sooo good!
