I try to reduce the maple as much as I can, and I usually have a blood sugar rush with maple, but I make the exception for this recipe. Very good taste and accepts substitutes for whatever I have on hand. Will be trying it with Bragg's Amino Acids today instead of soy sauce.

While simple to make and tasty, this was a bit too sweet for us. We prefer salmon to be the predominant flavor, not the marinade.

We all enjoyed our salmon so much that I was asked to put it on the monthly menu rotation by my DD. I can't tell you how good it tasted to me, except I don't have enough thumbs!! Thank you!

This is a delicious recipe full of flavor and my husband really enjoyed it. Somewhat similar in taste to teriyaki sauce with a twist. I think this marinade will work well with pork as well. I cut the recipe in half for about 9 oz salmon filet and there was enough marinade. I only marinated the salmon for 1 1/2 hour and it was plenty marinated. I did not add butter to the recipe to cut down on fat. This will be something I will be making often when we have salmon. Thank you Bill for posting this wonderful recipe.

Absolutely gorgeous made this last night as I had my sister and her daughter over for dinner and we all love salmon and I wanted to try something new. So glad I tried this recipe everybody loved it and kept raving about it long after finishing the meal. It was so simple and easy to make I marinated my salmon overnight and the flavour that came through was gorgeous. Big thumbs up by all and this will becoming a regular at our house thanks for sharing.

Excellent! I followed the directions except that I added a little more ginger (I love ginger, lol), and discovered at the last minute that I didn't have any dill. This was very simple and delicious. Thanks Uncle Bill for sharing. Made for Aussie Swap #14.

I was looking for something different to do with salmon and happily ran across this, it was wonderful. I'm checking out your other recipes now and making a list. Thanks for posting. Update: I had tried to give this recipe 5 stars and found out later that it didn't take. Hope it does this time. This recipe deserves every single one of them.
