Pretty darn good...cut it in half so it wouldn't have piles of it forever...

My daughter loves Balsamic Vinegar Dressing so I though to try out your recipe. There was no way I would even go through 2-1/2 cups of dressing, so I cut the recipe in half. It was on the thin side and taking into other suggestions and making changes here and there, it didn't cling to the greens the way I liked. Even with that, I ended up having to throw most of it out as we just don't go through dressing that fast. Sorry

The consistency of the dressing wasn't all that appealing, but the taste was good.

Most delicious Uncle Bill! I mixed up all but the EVOO - I did use dried onion & granulated garlic. Added marjoram, oregano & Basil - 1 tsp each dried. I whisk an aliquot with EVOO each time I make a salad. Sooo good! This dressing is a home staple. Thank you!

Delicous flavored dressing! A little bit thin, so I did add some mayo for body. Thanks!

This made a nice dressing over red leaf lettuce and carrots. I too found the dressing a tad thin. I also added about 1 more tbls. honey. I like a taste of sweetness. Thank you Uncle Bill!

Fabulous mellow flavor - I used well aged Balsamic. It has a special flavor that it shares well with the other ingredients. The dressing was a bit thinner than I like but that may be because I didn't pour in the oil slow enough. Next time that I make this dressing I will transfer it to my mixer after I have chopped the shallot & garlic. I think the oil will thicken the dressing a bit more when beaten in. . This dressing is so tasty if you put it on plain lettuce it would make it a gourmet salad. Thanks Uncle Bill great recipe

I am really enjoying this wonderful dressing. The ingredients blend together to create a nice sweet/tangy taste; the Dijon mustard adds pizazz!! I did add a bit more honey, maybe one tsp., so it wouldn't be as tangy for the tastebuds of other family members. I served it over just a lettuce salad, but I'm looking forward to having it over a nice spinach salad after a trip to the market. Thanks, Uncle Bill. I'll be making this often.
