  1. Great dip. I did make a couple of changes. I am watching my mom's shellfish intake so I substituted the imitation crab and actually this worked very well. We loved the dip. I also don't have a small crockpot so I baked the dip in small casserole dishes at 325 for 30 minutes. Used regular worchestershire sauce. It was sooo good with nachos....the scoop kind so you can get alot of dip on one chip, lol. I liked the texture and would imagine it would be even creamier if done in the crockpot. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Made recipe exactly as listed in my mini sauce and dip crock-pot. It turned out great. I love this stuff, will make this one over and over again. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Crab dip is one of our faves, but many recipes turn out to be very greasy. This one is just right. I don't have a small crockpot, so I baked the dip as suggested by Jackie. Added a dash of cayenne, and we loved it!

  4. This was a nice change of pace and very flavorful. The hardest thing for me to find was the white wine worcestershire sauce. After going to 4 different stores, I had to settle on Lea & Perrin's White Wine Chicken Marinade instead. I do not have a mini slow cooker, so I combined the ingredients in a small casserole and baked at 350 for about 20 minutes. It was browned, bubbling, creamy and delicious. Made for I Recommend Tag Game.

  5. Fancy and lovely! I happened upon good fortune as my Dad was able to get a couple pounds of fresh crabmeat and I went to this recipe to use one of the pounds. What else could you say? It is wonderful and divine all at once. I followed Brandess's review and used my oven instead of the crock pot, because quite frankly we couldn't wait that long ~ I would love to use the crock pot next time, but we were in a hurry to make this and devour it. The only small change I made was using 1 teaspoon of *Old Bay* seasoning in place of the seasoning salt, and I used a dash of paprika too. This is unbelievable and a joy to partake as well as share. Thanks, weekend cooker! Made for *Potluck* tag game~ Fall 2008.
