Thank you so much for sharing this yummy dish of your Mother's. I followed the recipe exactly and it was very good. (I might cut back on the sugar a bit next time.) I really enjoyed the blend of flavors.

I dont think its fair for me to give this a star rating this time around because when i opened the can of corn and went to drain it mush came out.. turns out i grabbed the wrong corn! I grabbed Cream style corn! and it was too late to go to the store! so I made it anyways but I dont want to rate it based on that because it wasnt anything great. Ill try it again and report back. next time using the right stuff!

I made this tonight as a last minute side dish- I really loved it. Only change I made was that I used 1/4 cup of onion, 1/4 cup of margarine, and 1 tbs of brown sugar. I drained the can by accident, but it had enough liquid with the margarine alone in my opinion. Thanks for sharing! Will make this again soon.

My family really liked the corn fixed this way. There wasn't a kernel left in the bowl. frist time I have cooked corn with brown sugar in it. Thanks enigma535. Bullwinkle.

Nummers is what my family said! My Beloved said it was a very good and he doesn't like onions. I did change it a bit. I used 3 cups of frozen corn, 1/3 cup of margarine and 1/4 cup of Splenda Brown Sugar. It was still a wee bit sweet for me but my family just loved it. It was simple to prepare and I will definately be making this again. Thanks so much for sharing.

This is quick and easy to put together and makes a rich side dish that will go with a variety of entrees. I did cut back on the sugar and it worked fine. Next time I will use frozen corn, add a couple of tablespoons of chicken broth for the liquid and use a bunch of green onions instead of a regular onion to add some color interest. Thanks for sharing, this is delicious!

This was excellent and so easy! I used a 16oz package of frozen corn and doubled everything but the sugar. My family ate all of it!
