Made this for a family birthday and had great compliments! One change I would make - add a little more butter to the crust. Mine turned out kinda dry & crumbly...but it still tasted great ;)
I love this cheesecake and was actually going to post it myself! It has wonderful flavor and presentation. The crust is my favorite part and it goes together like a dream. I made this for my Dad's birthday and it looked very professional. Thanks for posting!
I don't like an Oreo crust so I use chocolate graham crackers and crush them finely. I use the same amount of butter and the same amount of cracker crumbs as Oreos . You will be amazed it's like eating a chocolate candy bar with Carmel crust.I have made this recipe many times. I get rave reviews every time !
I made this for my brother and it was awesome! I did add more butter to the crust.
Yummmmm. I'd rate this a 6 if I could! Only change I made was to use caramel sauce for ice cream instead of melting caramels because I can't find caramels in any stores here! Thanks for the awesome recipe!!!
My sides sort of fell apart, so it didn't look great, but it tasted amazing. For my first cheesecake not so bad. I'm doing it again for Christmas day.
I will definately make this one again! It was one of the best cheesecakes I have ever had. The funny thing is that while just now reviewing the receipe, I realized that I only added 1 8oz pack of cream cheese to mine instead of the 3 I needed! lol... It still turned out good to me, though and everyone devoured this. I also did not use the chocolate baking squares and used mini chocolate chips. The receipe did not specify what to do with the chocolate or the nuts. I omitted the nuts and just topped the cake with the mini chips. Absolutely delicious! I recommend this one to all. It is probably even better when you add the correct amount of cream cheese to it. lol
