I HAVE MADE THIS WONDERFUL DISH SEVERAL TIMES NOW.I have only made one small change. There was too much filling for us , so I make 1/2 the amount, or make two rustic, flat tarts with two pie crusts.
If you are an onion lover then this is a sure 10 star recipe! At first I thought this would be an intensely onion flavoured dish, but in truth, all the supporting ingredients make this a perfectly balanced tart. Thank you for submitting this recipe. I will most certainly be making this again!
Oh dear, I made this a couple weeks ago or more and forgot to review it. That was criminal, because this is truly a wonderful dish, rich and exquisitely seasoned. I recommend it for a special occasion. Bravo, cookiedog!
