These are so moist and fluffy that they remind my kids of cake. And by being able to cut them into different shapes, they make a great kitchen activity for my little ones.

  1. Heat oven to 375* Mix sugar, shortening, margarine, vanilla and egg. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  2. Divide dough in 4 equal parts. Roll each part ¼ inch thick and cut with cookie cutters.
  3. Bake until no identation remains when touched, 6 to 8 minutes.
