I love Tzimmes, always in for a new "twist" on this age-old recipe. This is my latest variation.


  1. Put carrots and prune in a pot.
  2. Add orange juice.
  3. Boil for 10 minutes.
  4. Stir in sugar.
  5. Simmer gently for 2 hours until liquid is almost absorbed.
  6. Sprinkle with lemon and ginger.
  7. Serve.
