You can add a cucumber to this also. You can also substitute some mint for the part of the dill

  1. In a bowl combine yogurt, garlic, lemon juice and dill.
  2. Add salt and peppers to taste.
  3. Depending on desired consistency, add reserved yogurt liquid.

This was very tasty. The only thing that I thought could be improved was the consistency. When I combined the ingredients, the sauce turned out very liquid, although I had drained out the extra liquid from the yogurt as advised. Next time I might use a different brand of yogurt (that is thicker) or let the yogurt drain for a longer period of time. Other than that...VERY GOOD!

This is very tasty. I added it to a chicken sandwich making it so much more than it would have been without it. I did reduce the quantity that I made as I was the only one eating it and I did get a bit too much lemon juice in it. However, that is not the fault of the recipe but be careful with it. I added about 4 inches of cucumber that I grated. I wouldn't make it without. This is a recipe that I will return to. Thanks for posting.
