To: Karen Monahan You win my vote again! Your Twinkie Strawberry Surprise is a big hit with my family. I made it up the night before and took it over for my son's birthday get-together. It's super-easy to prepare and elegant-looking enough for any occasion. I followed your recipe right down the line and it's just right. You can't improve on perfection! Thanks for sharing, Laudee C. Colorado

Yummy, and soooooo E Z!! 9 twinkies fit perfect in 9x13 pan, and I used large box of pudding. I used 2 large boxes of strawberries and added about 3 cups of fresh to that. Next time I will use only one large box as it was almost too juicy, but oh so good. Strawberries and twinkies, let me die a happy woman!!

Fast and easy to make. I substituted cherries for the strawberries (had to pick too many strawberries when I was a kid and still don't like them) and it was really great. Took a double recipe serving to our church picnic today and it was the first to disappear! I'm intrigued by the idea of using cherries and making the pudding chocolate. This recipe is a solid keeper for me!

This was much better using SaraLee Pound Cake instead of twinkies....The pound cake soaks up the strawberry juice and make it much tastier!!!!!!!!!

I made this for the office gang and man they LOVED IT ! It was so light and tasty, but I think when I make this for my family I'm going to put two stacks of twinkies with same amount of strawberries, because my family will go nuts for this. Thanks for a sweet treat.

Thank you - this is MY kind of dessert. Since I don't care for baking and often have to come up with something sweet to satisfy my guests, this was soooo easy. My 9x13 pan held exactly 9 Twinkies cut as directed - SO, I had to eat the last one (drat!). First Twinkie I've tasted in over 30 years! This recipe is a keeper for me: you can make this in your sleep, it's a do-ahead dish, and several guests asked for the recipe. What more could you ask??!

I made these as a welcome to the neighborhood snack and the new members really enjoyed them. Thanks for the easiest recipe and do keep up the good work.

I did not have much luck with this recipe. I wasn't sure what size pudding box to use so I used a large size box. I made it the night before a school potluck, refrigerated it, but by the time I served it, the twinkies had absorbed all of the strawberry juice and turned to mush. I brought home 3/4th of the 9 x 13" pan. I guess my recommendation would be to make this only a couple of hours in advance so that the twinkies don't get mushy.

This has to be the easiest, quickest dessert I have ever made!! I made this for a birthday get-to-gether at work...I have now handed out over 10 copies of the recipe and it is going to be the 'feature recipe' in our newsletter. Needless to say, it was a big hit!!

I made this cake for a friends birthday everyone went crazy for it the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it did get soggy in the fridge overnight next time i will make just a few hours before i serve it.It was awesome though no one complained

This is so easy, and so delicious. My husband and I both said this is going to be a staple if we need to come up with a dessert to take somewhere! Yummy!

This recipe is great. I've taken it to a few different family get togathers. The only thing I do different in the recipe is I leave the Twinkies whole. Its an easy recipe to make that even my 14 year old girl makes

Made this for a co-workers birthday and it was a big hit! Everyone loved it! I was even a little embarrassed to tell them how easy it was to make! lol Had 5 people ask for the recipe, so I dutifully printed it out for them. One said she was going to make for her friends birthday and also make for her church social group. Thanks for sharing such a great easy recipe! I will be making again! We were talking at work and I bet you could make this with a can of pie filling, like blueberry! That would be good too! hmmmm, going to have to try it! Thanks again!

My Twinkies got soggy. I really wanted to taste them... Not sure how to prevent this unless you serve it immediately? Or REALLY drain the strawberries. I think this would be good with fresh berries too!

Wow! I made this today using strawberries that I froze myself. Sugared them while they were thawing. I will definitly make this again, it was a hit. As stated in the recipe, this is better if it sits overnight. Yummy!! Thanks for a keeper!!
