Turtle Pie

"This is different type of turtle pie. It is made with cream cheese. I got this recipe from A Taste of Home."

ingredients

• 236.59 ml semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
• 59.14 ml chopped pecans
• 9 inch pastry shells, baked
• 59.14 ml caramel topping
• 2 (453.59 g) package cream cheese, softened
• 177.44 ml confectioners' sugar
• 29.58 ml whipping cream

directions

1. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of chocolate chips and pecans into pastry shell.
2. Pour caramel topping over chips and pecans.
3. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
4. In a saucepan over low heat, cook and stir cream and remaining chips until smooth.
5. Gradually add to the cream cheese mixture; mix well.
6. Carefully spread into pastry shell.
7. Garnish with additional chocolate chips, pecans and caramel topping.
