Easy and delicious...it doesn't get any better than that. I wasn't able to find corn tortillas at the store, so I had to use flour tortillas. This really had a southwestern flavor to it. I topped it off with a little more sour cream. Made for Aug. 2001 Aus/NZ Swap.

This is so good! we loved it! I used mediterranean herb flavoured tortillas, and i used cheddar cheese. I also used some leftover hot taco sauce for the picante sauce. I addeda n extra slice of cheese in each one, and after baking I sprinkled a little shredded cheese on top. These were a hit, and I will be definately making them again! [Made for Aus/NZ Recipe Swap]

This sure was a surprise. I thought the ingredients would be good together...that's why I made it...but I didn't expect it to be so darn good! This really did make a wonderful quick lunch. I used Canadian bacon instead of the ham and added a touch of chopped cilantro on top because I felt it needed more color and I love the flavor. The only negative thing I can say about this recipe (which I expected) was that the corn tortillas creaked. I agree with Papa Syd that flour tortillas would be great too! Made for PRMR tag game.

Although I don't usually use corn tortillas, I did follow this recipe right on down & we thoroughly enjoyed these great turnovers! Must admit, though, that even as I was making them, I wondered how they might taste with flour tortillas & a combo of both picante AND cranberry sauce! I know ~ Me & my cranberries, but after all it IS the season! However I do 'em, I'll definitely do 'em again as I thought the recipe made for a very satisfying encounter! Made for your Football Pool win, mainly because we favor using tortillas in as many ways as poss. I've used them for pizza, but always open-face style vs quesadilla-style. Versatility makes this recipe a winner for me because it has several uses .. as an appy, luncheon/dinner entree or even a patio party fare. This is a tasty, quick & easy-fix that allows for chging or adding ingredients according to pers pref. Thx for sharing this recipe w/us & congrats on your Football Pool win. :-)
