Turmeric Potatoes

Delicious accompaniment with rice and curries. To reduce further calories, reduce serving size. This is a really large serve and not required if you have rice or other accompaniements.

I love turmeric, so I knew this would be a great recipe. I only used half an onion and added extra chili flakes. This was great over regular long grain rice but would be even better with basmati rice.

  1. Slice up onions to onion rings.
  2. Sauté onions with black mustard seeds and turmeric.
  3. Dice potatoes and add.
  4. Add salt and chili to taste.
  5. Cook slowly until soft.
