Lovely! Very relaxing. I used 1/2 the water and apples. Added 4 crushed cardamom pods. I just find that if you don`t dry your own apples this can be expensive. It would be easy to buy cider or apple juice and add spices and honey which I didn`t use. I will leave mine on the stove to sit overnight to steep and enjoy reheated for breakfast. The apples with get used in maybe pancakes or a sauce for pork. I don`t know yet but do be sure to use them. Thanks!

If you are looking for that perfect comfort drink for a crisp fall day, this is the one for you! Tastes so much like the apple cider my grandmother used to make. I will definitely plan to serve this as my after dinner beverage this Thanksgiving. I diced up the re hydrated apples and threw them into a muffin batter for breakfast thins morning. Thanks Nasseh!

This made for a nice comforting warm drink! I ended up simmering mine for about 30 minutes. I did add a bit of honey when I served as it wasn't very sweet. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
