- 302.39 g pork sausage
- 2 (151.19 g) can mushrooms, stems and pieces
- 1 onions, chopped
- 113.39 g can chopped water chestnuts
- 78.86 ml milk
- 39.43 ml flour
- 394.31 ml chicken broth
- 1.64 ml salt
- 1.64 ml pepper
- 1.64 ml oregano
- 1.64 ml marjoram
- 1.64 ml thyme
- 591.47 ml chicken broth
- 236.59 ml rice, made without flavor packet (mixture wild and white)
- 473.18 ml cut up turkey
directions
- Brown sausage, remove from skillet.
- Saute mushrooms, onions, and water chestnuts in drippings.
- Drain grease leaving 4 tablespoons.
- Stir in flour.
- Gradually stir in milk and 2-1/2 cups chicken broth.
- Cook until thickened.
- Add salt, pepper, and spices.
- Boil 3-3/4 cup chicken broth.
- Add rice, simmer covered until done.
- Combine with turkey and sausage, pour sauce over and mix.
- Bake in a casserole dish at 350 deg. for 30 minute.
