This has really nice flavors, and is such an unusual dish - and it's quite easy. I followed exactly, except I skipped the green peppers (personal preference) and I did add about 4 oz of tomato sauce with 4 oz of water to have a little sauce to simmer in. I went in a different direction and served this over spaghetti squash. Really good. Thanks for posting.

Another flavorful dinner and you can make it ahead and re-heat! Tastes even better the 2nd day.

When I made it as is, the flavor was good, but it didn't make enough sauce to go over rice - what I ended up doing to make it edible for our family was to add a jar of Trader Joe's Moroccan Tagine sauce. But otherwise, I think it needs to have more tomato sauce.
