We enjoyed this, but the topping was a little much for us - I'd love to make this again and top with a turkey/brown gravy! Thank you for the easy recipe! I would like to say that I didn't have the full amount of turkey and replaced 1/4lb of it with some extra oatmeal and it worked out beautifully. :) Thanks
This makes a tasty and easy to slice meatloaf. I did use 1 whole egg and reduced the brown sugar to 2 tablespoons.
Wish I would've sen the reviews first to add more oatmeal to my 1lb of ground turkey---but it still turned out pretty good. I also added a little (teaspoon or 2) of soy sauce and asian mustard to the topping...made for a little asian flare. Overall I will definitely try this recipe again!
I loved this meatloaf, and so did the family. The topping was a little too sweet for me, so I added a little Worcestershire sauce and then it was perfect. I doubled the recipe to make 2 loafs so we could have leftovers and meatloaf sandwiches for a couple days. YUM
This recipe was wonderful. Like another reviewer, I only had 1 pound of turkey so I added 1 cup of oats instead of 1/3, and 1/2 cup of milk instead of what it called for. I love rosemary and celery seed with my poultry, so I added just a touch to the mixture before I cooked it. This one is going in my recipe box. Thank you for sharing.

I don't think I've ever made a meatloaf with turkey, so this was [I BELIEVE!] a new experience, one that turned into a very tasty meal! Followed the recipe for the loaf, but I cut back on the amount of topping & covered only half the loaf ~ the other half I served up with a cranberry sauce I'd made! Great both ways!
