- 2 cups cubed cooked turkey (smoked turkey is best)
- 1 1⁄2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 (8 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
- salt and pepper
directions
- In a mixing bowl, add the turkey, macaroni, 1 1/2 cup cheese, soup, milk, mushrooms, salt and pepper; stir to combine.
- Transfer to a greased 2 quart casserole dish.
- Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 60-65 minutes or until the macaroni is tender.
- Uncover; sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake 5-10 more minutes or until cheese is melted.
