A great way to use left over turkey. This freezes well for later use, just let it cool some and put in a ziploc freezer bag (without rice).

Ingredients Nutrition

  1. In large pan, heat olive oil and saute until soft. Add garlic and cook one minute more.
  2. Add tomatoes and stir.
  3. Add water, paste, worcestershire sauce, chili powder, salt, sugar, and tabasco sauce.
  4. Simmer uncovered for 40 minutes.
  5. Dissolve gelatin in 2 tsp water.
  6. Add turkey and gelatin to sauce.
  7. Heat thoroughly/until desired thickness.
  8. Best served with rice.

Mmm good. Saute the onion and celery in that first step. I halved the chili powder and left out the tabasco, I''m a spice wimp. Served over brown rice with grated cheese.

Very easy. I didn't have as much turkey as the recipe called for but it was still good. I did have to add more water than the recipe called for. We had lots left and was able to freeze it for another meal. Thanks Mr. Lady Pit for a good recipe.

What a easy and very tasty meal! I did use about a 1 1/2 lbs of ground turkey that I browned with some onion. I didnt have the gelatin so I used corn starch mixed in some water to thicken. We had brown rice and a salad along with this. Thank you Mr. Ladypit!
