Turkey Casserole " Christmas in April"

"Left over turkey,white or dark meat, and left over Sausage stuffing, frozen to enjoy in April."

ingredients

• 14.79 ml olive oil
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 3 celery ribs, chopped
• 1 jalapeno, chopped
• 4.92 ml dried sage
• 1.23 ml salt
• 1.23 ml fresh ground pepper
• 29.58 ml flour
• 473.18 ml chicken broth
• 473.18 ml cooked turkey, cubed
• 473.18 ml left over sausage prepared stuffing

directions

1. Preheat oven to 400f degrees.
2. Heat oil in a nonstick frypan; add onions, celery, jalepeno and sage. Saute just until the onion starts to turn brown. Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with flour, saute for about 2 minutes. Add broth, bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes. Add turkey, stir to combine; pour mixture into a casserole. Top mixture with sausage stuffing. Bake on middle rack of oven for about 30 minutes or until bubbly and the top is well browned.
