Sorry we really didn't care for these. The dried thyme was too strong tasting and they fell apart very easily when flipped. I might try it again without the thyme and also try salting and draining the zucchini first so it's not so watery.

These turned out good. I really loved the added veggies. DH wasn't as thrilled, he said they tasted "healthy". I think I'll try them again and add minced onion and experiment with the seasoning. Thanks for posting the recipe.

Possibly the best burgers I've ever had! I got 5 good-size burgers out of the recipe and cooked them on my indoor grill for 5 min/side. Topped with sauteed mushrooms, cheese, lettuce, and a bbq-mayo spread. Delicious!

This was surprisingly juicy and flavorful. My husband and I loved this recipe. It's just perfect. The only changes we made were using only 1 carrot and adding 1 fresh jalapeno pepper, finely chopped, and a bit of vidalia onion, finely chopped. Thanks so much Liza for bringing this recipe to our attention.

Mother of god, these are good burgers. We cooked ours on the grill and ate them on homemade buns with lettuce and tomatoes, and we could not stop talking with our mouths full to say how amazing they were. Husb even went back for seconds even though they were pretty fair sized. I halved the salt with no ill effects, but wouldn't change anything else. I do believe I have a new addition to my dinner rotation. Thanks a mil, Liza.

I made this recipe in appreciation of Liza. It was NOT hard to sell me on this one. I love and use ground turkey all the time and am always looking for a new way to use it. I had zucchini on hand to use up. This burger is full of taste and has less calories than beef. We used chibatta buns and dh had lettuce on his while I used spinach (personal taste) dh also added hot peppers and pepperjack cheese. The bugers where moist and tasty. This recipe has found a place in my permanent file box. We loved em ! I am late with this review so I am sorry. but This is a KEEPER !!!

Love this burger Liza! DH does not like zucchini but ate this and raved about the wonderful flavour! even after i told him what was in it! I will be making this one again, just full of flavour and good for us too. I used about 3/4 of pound of meat and left the rest pretty much the same, but made 4 patties and put two in the freezer to enjoy another day. I cooked them on the grill and melted a little cheddar cheese on top, then added tomato slices, lettuce , dejon mustard and a zesty relish, left out the mayo and decided we wanted them on a bun. Thanks Liza for all your hard work for us on 'zaar. Excellent turkey burger!!

Very tasty healthy burger -With this burger you need less meat and enjoy more veggies.. I cut the recipe back to 8 oz left the garlic at 2 cloves and added 1/2 tsp hot sauce. Definately use the lemon and coarse grain mustard, Didn't use the Mayo. Added slice of tomato & some sweet onion. Thanks for all you do Liza and for posting this recipe!
