  • Toss apple with lemon juice; set aside.
  • In a large nonstick skillet, saute onion and peppers in hot oil, stirring frequently until crisp-tender.
  • Add turkey to skillet, and stir until heated through.
  • Stir in apple mixture.
  • In a separate bowl, add garlic to yogurt and mix.
  • Fold pitas in half, and fill with turkey mixture.
  • Drizzle with yogurt mixture.

  1. Quick and simple, yet tasty! I sub a granny smith apple since that is what I had on hand. The taste was wonderful and a good way to use left over turkey. My review is just for the turkey becauseI already had tzatziki sauce on hand. Thanks for posting and one I'll be making again!
