Have an early Thanksgiving and make this wonderful meatloaf. You can also use part ground beef if you wish. Great served with garlic mashed potatoes and gravy.
- 2 1⁄2 lbs ground turkey
- 1 1⁄2 cups chicken flavor stuffing mix
- 2 eggs
- 1⁄2 cup diced celery
- 1⁄2 cup diced onion
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 1⁄3 cup milk
- Preheat oven to 350º.
- Mix together turkey, stuffing, eggs, celery, onions, garlic and milk in a large bowl.
- Mixture will be lumpy.
- Spray 9x5" loaf pan with non stick spray and place mixture in it.
- Bake for 1 hour until temperature reads 165 degrees F in center of loaf.
I love the concept of this recipe, but unfortunately it didn't work out well for me. It took over an hour and 20 minutes to cook, even though I covered it for over half the time and turned up the heat for the last 20 minutes. It also turned out very bland for my tastes. I wish I could have enjoyed it more.
