This recipe came from Jim's grandmother. They are simple and delicious. This is the first pickle recipe that I ever used when I was learning to can.

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Run cucmbers, onions & green peppers through the food processor with the slicing blade in place.
  2. Combine all 3 ingredients with salt into large pan and mix thoroughly.
  3. Cover with ice and let stand 3 hours.
  4. Drain well.
  5. Combine last 5 ingredients and pour over drained cucumber mixture.
  6. Bring to boil on stove top.
  7. Pour into sterilized jars and process in water bath for 10 minutes.
