Sounds like something I'd make and my husband would be repulsed by....I love it.
Fantastic! this was just the innovation I needed for my cupboard stocked with stuff i never wanted to eat. i've actually made several variations on the recipe. Sometimes i simply add a little tomato soup and it sweetens it with a little zing.
Another version i really enjoyed was replacing cream of mushroon with cream of chicken. Another discovery is adding hormel canned chili to just the boxed mac and cheese with the corn still involved(minus cream of mushroom and tuna made another wonderful creation I dubbed "Chili cheeze stuff" in honor of my inspiration.
Thanks so much!
It's pretty good. My 6 year old and her best friend loved it and scarfed down 3 plates full. My 2 year old refused to even try it. I subtracted a star for appearance because of that. I would substitute peas for the corn if making it just for me. Using cream of mushroom soup in this recipe was a stroke of genius, I would have never considered that.
It's not as cheesy as I like, but I loved it.It was delicious and very filling, and it wasn't difficult at all to cook- and if I can make it, anyone can!
Cheap, fast and economical. Heavenly words to a single mom's ears! I think the 1 cup of milk was too much. It drowned out the cheesiness...Other than that..Very easy! Thanks!
This was a very yummy tuna dish. I used a 6 oz can of tuna and low fat soup. We also crushed some spicy tortilla chips on top. This was a wonderful fast and easy meal.
This has become our budget meal recently. It doesn't sound good- but is really easy and filling. We eat the corn on the side. Thanks so much for sharing.
