- 1 (7 ounce) package small shell pasta, cooked and drained
- 1 (6 ounce) can tuna, drained and flaked
- 1 large carrot, shredded
- 1⁄4 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- In a large salad bowl, combine pasta, tuna, carrot and onion. Combine remaining ingredients; whisk until smooth. Pour over pasta mixture; toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
I made this recipe on 4/5/11 for the " Catch Of The Day " April TOM 2011. Except for cutting the amount of pasta and mayo in half the recipe was made as it was written.I really enjoyed the tang that the lemon juice and mustard gave this salad.It was supposed to be dinner,but it ended up being my lunch.:)It was that good.Thanks for posting and, " Keep Smiling :) "
