This is my mother's tuna salad, updated by me, with bits from some of my other favorite recipes. Measurements are ballparks--I eyeball it and you can adjust anything to taste. I only make enough for me, since my husband won't eat tuna. You may want to double the recipe.

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Drain Tuna.
  2. Mix with remaining ingredients.
  3. If it's too thin, add some breadcrumbs. If it's not thin enough, add more mayo.
  4. Chill for a couple of hours for a more blended flavor.
  5. Serve on sliced bread. Sprinkle with grated cheddar if you like.
