Tropical Smoothie (Barefoot Contessa) Ina Garten

Hoping this will get me on track to good health. This is a fairly thin smoothie, but I'm sure you can thicken it by freezing the fruit first.

  1. In a blender, combine the mango, papaya, banana, orange juice, milk, yogurt, honey, and ice.
  2. Blend until smooth.

Made a great lunch . . . Used frozen fruit, including the banana, and no ice! Left out the milk and substituted orange juice! Made for ZWT 5. Thanks for sharing!

Oh so yummy! I used frozen mango, so used only 4 pieces of ice. I used vanilla yogurt and almond milk. Thanks for a great morning start! Made for the secret ingredient game.

I coarsely chopped the mango & papaya, then partially froze them before making this wonderful smoothie, without the ice! Did add two small scoops of vanilla protein powder! Thanks for a great tasting, drinkable breakfast! [Tagged, made & reviewed in the Beverage Tag cooking game]
