One of our favourite morning pick-me-up smoothies. We sometimes also add 3-4 tablespoons of vanilla whey protein or a couple tablespoons ground flax seed. For an added nutritional boost I'll add kale or fresh baby spinach too.
- 1 medium mango, peeled & cut off the pit
- 2 medium bananas
- 1⁄2 cup pineapple juice (or orange juice)
- 1⁄2 cup coconut milk
- 1 cup balkan yogurt
- Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Serve immediately.
Delicious, and made for a tasty breakfast!!! I made this exactly as posted, but I did not what Balkan yogurt was, so I used plain kefir instead. It worked out just fine. Made for ZWT7.
Nice and refreshing! I used grapefruit juice, so I had to add a little sugar to cut the tanginess For ZWT7 silverados
