The original of this recipe came from the Dole website, but I've tweeked it a little to better suit my tastes! Preparation time does not include the time needed to freeze or partially freeze the fruit cocktail.
- 1 (15 1/4 ounce) can fruit cocktail (or tropical fruit salad)
- 1 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1 banana, medium-ripe
- Empty can of fruit, with its juice, into a freezer container & freeze or partially freeze.
- Combine all ingredients in blender, & blend until smooth.
Very good smoothie. I used Greek yogurt, peaches with heavy syrup, and frozen banana. Perfect for the two of us.
