I recently bought a used copy of this cookbook and was happy to see this recipe posted. I made this on Saturday and was pleased with the flavor. This is not a sweet bread. In fact, my husband and I were only aware of the mild flavor of pineapple and raisins in this bread. I used the 'Tropical Medley' blend of dried fruit that is sold in the stores. Kerena, for me, you posted this recipe at the right time.
