I made this as a slab cake and it worked really well.It was easy to do in the food processor too. I reduced the sugar a little and we all loved it. Absolutely wonderful cake, this is! After following the recipe right on down, when I got to the glaze I added one thing ~ 2 teaspoons of finely minced orange zest! Other than that, thought, I wouldn't change a thing! Definitely a 5-STAR cake at the very least! Thanks for sharing the recipe! Made this for our Labor Day weekend BBQ and it was a big hit! Tasted a lot like banana bread, but not as dense. The glaze gave it just enough sweetness and didn't overpower the taste of the cake.
