These were wonderful little cookies. The peanuts made them taste so much butter than just the normal peanut butter cookie. Yummmmmy! Thanks for posting.

These were amazing! I used 1/2 butter and 1/2 margarine, omitted the peanuts as I used chunky peanut butter, and used the chocolate chips. I will be making these again. Thanks for a wonderful recipe!

Wonderful and yummy cookie! I used 1/2 butter and 1/2 butter flavored shortening and light brown sugar as that is what I had. We love peanut butter and chocolate so I used chocolate chips, but I will make these again with peanut butter chips, too. Thanks for sharing!!

these were really good. i added some oats so they were a little different. i didnt have any pb chips so i used some little pb cup chip things.. they were ok but pb chips would have been better, next time. i didnt use the peanuts since i used crunchy pb, and i actually cut the butter down a bit. they had a great texture esp if they wern't over baked.. i found that 9-10 min was perfect for mine. the overbaked ones were too dry. but very nice crispy outter edge with a nice chewy center. one of my students who i bake for on a weekly basis claimed these the 'best yet'! thats saying something! i'll keep this recipe

This recipe came in perfect time. I was just craving a peanut butter cookie and know that King Arthur recipes are the BEST! I did not add the chips (I accidentally bought butterscotch) since when I taste tested the first batch they were proclaimed perfect by my son, daughter (first one my daughter has ever liked), and me. They both loved the "melt in your mouth texture", not greasy and rich like most others. I love that they are thick! They definitely taste like they came out of some specialty shop. I can't wait to try more of your recipes. Welcome to Zaar. Roxygirl Roxygirl
