So much fun, but messy, yet so delicious! I originally planned to make candied and caramel apples for Halloween with the grand-kids, but they were unable to come over that weekend. So I made these last week (I forgot to review them until now). I have to say, this is a great twist on S'mores! We all loved them. The only change that I made was to microwave the butter and marshmallows to melt before dipping. Then I did the double-boiler using semi-sweet chocolate chips with the crushed graham crackers for coating. So yummy! Thank you for posting. (Made for PRMR)

Made 6 of these, seeing that one of my kids had a couple friends over overnight. Though it got a tad messy, half the reason was 4 rambunctious kids though, they turned out real well, with no complaints. I used 6 granny smith apples, and used dark chocolate seeing I had that on hand. baking time was right on the dot. A great great treat, that was a delight. Made for PRMR tag.
