  1. This bread is wonderful and nice change from whites and wheats, I love to smell it cooking or toasting. I did use cinnamon apple sauce and an extra bit of cinnamon in my 2nd loaf and we all liked it better. Thanks for a great recipe to my collection

  2. We really liked the way this turned out, although it was way too sticky and wet with these proportions (and I'm a careful measurer) so I think I had to add another 2 - 3 tablespoons of flour. Also, hubby was disappointed that the apple got completely mixed in and wasn't more noticeable, so I might wait to mix it in later instead of at the start. Or maybe chop it more coarsely. But we'll definitely be making this again!

  3. this was really good bread - my first time using the bread maker on my own - might add some nuts next time. i will make this again though

  4. This bread was horrible. I love bread even when it does not turn out well but this was yucky. It was too wet, did not rise, did not have even a hint of sweetness and I did not taste very apple.A waste of apples. But my 7 year old liked it so I gave it 1 star. I

  5. I wasn't as happy with this bread as I expected to be. It didn't rise very well so it was heavy and dry. It might be because the applesauce and applejuice were cold when I used them. I've never found I had to warm stuff up before but maybe this recipe needs it. I'm going to give it another go and hopefully change my review.
