This bread is wonderful and nice change from whites and wheats, I love to smell it cooking or toasting. I did use cinnamon apple sauce and an extra bit of cinnamon in my 2nd loaf and we all liked it better. Thanks for a great recipe to my collection

We really liked the way this turned out, although it was way too sticky and wet with these proportions (and I'm a careful measurer) so I think I had to add another 2 - 3 tablespoons of flour. Also, hubby was disappointed that the apple got completely mixed in and wasn't more noticeable, so I might wait to mix it in later instead of at the start. Or maybe chop it more coarsely. But we'll definitely be making this again!

This bread was horrible. I love bread even when it does not turn out well but this was yucky. It was too wet, did not rise, did not have even a hint of sweetness and I did not taste very apple.A waste of apples. But my 7 year old liked it so I gave it 1 star. I

I wasn't as happy with this bread as I expected to be. It didn't rise very well so it was heavy and dry. It might be because the applesauce and applejuice were cold when I used them. I've never found I had to warm stuff up before but maybe this recipe needs it. I'm going to give it another go and hopefully change my review.

Loved it! This was great. I didn't have whole wheat flour, so I used 3 cups bread flour. Next time I think I'll add more cinnamon and maybe more chopped apple. Very moist bread. Thanks for posting this one.

Delicious! The ingredients list did not specify what type of applesauce to use, so I used cinnamon applesauce and still used the regular amount of cinnamon (we like cinnamon at our house). The only apples I had in the house were Gala apples, so I used those. When I took the bread out of the machine, I wasn't sure it was done but I left it out until it was almost cool and then put it in a plastic bag and closed it tightly. The next day, the bread was absolutely moist and DELICIOUS! I will definitely be making this one again. Thanks for sharing this recipe!
