This is a yummy French Holiday Dish.
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 lb ground pork (shoulder)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 teaspoon clove
- salt & pepper
- 3 medium potatoes, boiled & mashed
- 1 (9 inch) double crust pie crusts
- Fry onion in small amount of butter.
- Add meat.
- Stir until done.
- Add seasoning, then potatoes. Stir well.
- Turn into a 9-inch pie shell & cover with top crust; slit.
- Bake until crust browns.
