Totally Awesome Pasta Salad

I adopted and adapted this recipe from a restaurant in Rochester, MN. while visiting a hospital there. It has a fantastic flavor and is quick and easy to make.

• Prep Time: 5 mins
• Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients:

Serves: 15

Yield: 0.5 cups

• 3 cups penne pasta , uncooked
• 1 (12 ounce) bottle Italian salad dressing
• 1 (16 ounce) jar picante sauce
• 3 tablespoons chili sauce
• 1 small onion , chopped
• ½ cup red bell pepper , chopped
• ½ cup green bell pepper , chopped
• ½ cup zucchini , chopped
• 2 (8 ounce) cans diced tomatoes with green chilies
• ½ cup white vinegar
• ½ cup artificial sweetener
• ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
• ¼ cup steak sauce
• 1 dash salt
• 1 dash pepper

Directions:

1. Prepare penne pasta per box directions, al dente' is best.
2. Drain and cool completely.
3. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
4. Place in a bowl with an airtight lid and refrigerate for at least two hours.
5. Stir well prior to serving.
