Mmmm, quick and delicious! I followed the recipe, using cheese tortellini, normal cream, fresh basil leaves, and no olives. Easy to prepare, I got a rich thick coating sauce and we absolutely loved this, no left overs! Thank you, will make this again!
Thanks. I basically used your ingredients and added a pinch of this and that...I used heavy cream and rosemary I had in fridge. Topped with some cheese, omitted olives. Very quick, easy and filling.
This was just okay. I found that it did not thicken enough for us. I thought the chicken broth and garlic gave the sauce a nice flavor, and this was super easy to put together. My 5 year old loved it. I thought it was just okay, probably would not make it again.
This was delicious! I made this for the hubby and served with breadsticks and champagne! I made a few changes to the recipe: no olives, I doubled the cornstarch, used about 3/4 tsp of herbs, added 2 cubed chicken breasts, and 1/2 lb portabella mushrooms.
This was so fantastic. I had to add more cornstarch, and I wonder if maybe using heavy cream would have made the sauce thicker. But it was still so good. We added chicken to it, and it was excellent!
a little milk and its resturant quality
I could not get this to thicken. Even tried a knob of butter and putting it in the microwave? It was pretty tasty tho?
It's a great recipe. The sauce was not thick enough so I added more corstarch. DH found it had too much spices. And I used less (I used oregano and basil). Thanks kzbhansen :) Made for all you can cook buffet
This recipe is simple, but very delicious. I also add a few more things to it. Today I am making it for the second time, and for sure not the last :)
I tried this Garlic cream sauce for my Tortellini....and it was ohhh soo good!! I couldn't get the sauce to thicken up even though I added extra corn starch. I also added about a teaspoon of Nutmeg for seasoning which gives it the Italian Flavor..... Try it it's pretty good. Does anyone know how to get this sauce to thicken up??
