A different pasta salad, almost a meal in itself.

  1. Cook tortellini in boiling water with a bit of salt.
  2. Drain and cool, do not rinse.
  3. Whisk together herbs and dressing.
  4. Chop all your vegetables.
  5. Combine all in a large bowl.
  6. Can be served room temp or chilled.
  7. If chilling, you may have to add more dressing before serving as the tortellini will soak the dressing up.

I was making this to serve as a side dish to go with BBQ ribs so left out the salami and pepperoni. I thinly sliced the veggies I selected on a mandoline. I used a little over half of the dressing mix before chilling and stirred the rest in right before serving. We enjoyed the salad. Thank you for sharing your recipe!

This salad was delicious and tremendously easy. I was serving an older crowd and did not use any of the herbs and spices recommended, but did use a Zesty Italian time I will use the extras for a bit more zip. Served it at room temperature so the flavours were all there.....thanks for a great recipe.
