So named because this is how I made it tonight. I served it with Winter Ratatouille (With Option to Make Into a Great Appetizer!).

Very flavorful. Apparently there are 2 kinds of couscous - instant and the kind you have to cook. Mine was still little rocks after 5 mins so I read the directions on the box and it said to simmer for 15 minutes and then let it sit for 5. It was better after that but didn't seem as cooked as I've had in restaurants. For February Sun and Spice 2013

  1. Heat olive oil. Add onion & cinnamon stick. Saute 5 minutes.
  2. Add raisins, ras el hanout, salt & pepper, stir well.
  3. Add chickpeas, stir to combine well. When thoroughly heated, add couscous & water.
  4. Stir well, cover, turn off heat & let sit 5 minutes. Stir, serve & enjoy.
