Delicious and easy! I used goat cheese and was generous with the pepper. Also used ripe organic tomatoes and broiled. I love how the broiler makes the cheese just start to turn brown after it starts to bubble. Love the fresh basil!

Love, love, love this dish. It's particularly good with homegrown tomatoes and a really nice artisan cheese. Yum!

Loved this recipe Derf! I changed to Swiss Cheese out of necessity and added a smidge of finely chopped red onion. For all the Sommersizers out there, this makes a great refreshing lunch. Thx so much!

As GinnyP said, delicious and easy! I used vine ripened tomatoes, goat cheese and freshly ground black pepper. Definately a winner!

yummy and bursting with flavor! So simple but the flavors are so incredible. Came out great even though I messed up and put the basil under the goat cheese! oops! Loved the creaminess of the melted goat cheese! I did add just a tiny pinch of sea salt on top bc I am a salt lover! Used fresh cracked pepper which was also divine with this. I just love it when simple recipes taste like a million bucks! Great recipe Derf! Thanks so much for sharing it!
