Refreshing and healthy. I go through fases with this breakfast. Spice it to your own liking and if you have your Mother in Law staying with you longer then 3 days you might consider adding vodka to it!!!!!!
- 1 cup tomato juice, plain or spiced
- 1⁄2 cup plain yogurt
- 1 pinch onion salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- lemons, slice or lemon wedge
- Put everything except the lemon in your blender.
- Blend on high for about 15 seconds or until smooth.
- Pour into a tall glass and serve with the lemon.
Excellent. I made this with V8, greek yoghurt (the really thick, rich, creamy stuff), Worcestershire Sauce and Tabasco. I didn't have onion salt and added regular but I don't think it needed any salt at all (maybe it's the V8 - it probably has salt in it. I have to check next time I buy some.) This made just over 1 huge glass and I had it all for lunch. Delicious! Healthy!
I used Clamato Juice because that's what I had on hand and Onion Powder since the Clamato had salt in it already. This makes a good change to just having yogurt with sliced tomatoes for a snack.
Oh wow...this was soooooo good. I used spicy hot V8 (spiced vegetable/tomato juice) in place of tomato juice and this is definitely a do-over recipe. Thanks Pets!
