  1. CREAM SHORTENING AND SUGAR.
  2. PUT BAKING SODA IN THE CAN OF SOUP.
  3. STIR INTO SUGAR AND SHORTENING.
  4. SIFT AND ADD DRY INGREDIENTS.
  5. STIR IN RAISINS AND NUTS.
  6. BAKE AT 350 IN A GREASED 9X12 INCH PAN FOR 30 MINUTES.

sugar is missing in this recipe as the ingredient should be at least one cup white.
